Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Cockpit Window
A jet ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an unscheduled landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, as stated by an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.
"The plane touched down following established safety measures and all passengers, among them Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a social media post.
Hegseth was returning from a short visit to the Belgian capital at the time.
This event is not the initial instance that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has experienced technical problems.
Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying the US Secretary of State to Munich was compelled to head back to the US capital after encountering a technical issue.
