The loved ones of teenagers unaccounted for after a tragic inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are enduring an excruciating period of uncertainty for confirmed information and appealing for information about their children via social media.

The fire devastated the a popular bar in Cans-Montana, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the small hours of January 1st. Confirmed images depict the roof structure igniting as beverages with sparklers are held aloft.

Emergency services have indicated that it could take days if not weeks to identify the victims of the disaster, which resulted in the death of four dozen individuals and hurt another over a hundred. Authorities stated on the latest update that 113 of the those hurt have been identified, with work continuing to identify the final individuals.

Appeals for the Unaccounted For
