Two Individuals Accused Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

The incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the multi-storey parking facility.

Formal charges have been brought against two men in connection with a suitcase robbery where a suspected pepper spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after exiting a car park lift, authorities reported.

A toddler was one of the people hurt in the event. A total of five individuals required hospital care and were later discharged.

The incident – described by police as was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – led to train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
